Severe weather warnings have been issued across the UK for snow and ice.
Midsomer Norton and surrounding areas can expect to see some snow fall in the next few days, starting off as sleet at 4am on Tuesday.
Light snowfall will commence from 6am through to the afternoon, with a heavier flurry commencing between 5 and 6am.
More snow is to be expected on Wednesday, with forecasts showing varying drifts from 3am through to 9pm.
Along with their yellow warning , the MET Office have informed the public on what to expect:
Some roads and railways likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services
Some injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces
Probably some icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths
Motorists should take extra care whilst driving over the next few days. Journeys should only be made if absolutely essential, and more time should be allowed for travel in line with severe conditions.
