Peasedown’s Party in the Park festival has secured a major local sponsor for its 2025 event with St John’s Church backing the popular summer celebration.

St John’s Church, which runs a range of community projects across the village, has been announced as a sponsor for Party in the Park 2025, organised by the Peasedown Community Trust. The event takes place on Saturday, June 14 on Beacon Field, running from 11.30am to 7pm.

Festival Managers Gavin Heathcote and Karen Walker said: “We are thrilled to have the support of St John’s Church for our 16th anniversary festival this year, which takes place on Saturday, June 14.

“With our vision of making Party in the Park better each year, this year’s party will cost over £6,500 to host. The sponsorship from St John’s Church means we are well on our way to reaching our fundraising target.”

Businesses and organisations can support Party in the Park through sponsorship packages that include logo placement on banners and posters, advertising on the event website, promotion on social media, and acknowledgement by the festival’s MCs on the day.

Leader of St John’s Anglican Church, Revd Matthew Street, said: “Here at St John’s, we have a heart for reaching out into the community and supporting people when and wherever we can.

“Bringing people together and encouraging one another is a key part of the Christian faith, and so it’s with great delight that we are sponsoring Party in the Park this year.

“Over the last 16 years, the team has worked exceptionally hard to organise, coordinate and host an event that has achieved positive recognition far beyond the boundaries of Peasedown St John.”
