After the match and the excellent tea, Neil addressed the members of both teams and described Paulton as a very friendly club, he also presented the President of Paulton Bowls with the very fetching blue World Bowls cap being worn by Mark in the photograph. As for the rest of the week the women showed the way starting with an away match against Prattens where, despite some very close games and a late come back by Prattens on one rink, the Ladies eventually triumphed on all three rinks.
The men on the other hand, Wednesday evening away at Norwest in the MSL, could only win on one rink. On Thursday three of our players played in the mixed County Triples against Bloomfield, coming away with a win 21-13 well done Dave and Lesley beard and Annabelle Curtis.
The Fear Cup was postponed until Monday evening. Saturday the men were away at Knowle, against their C team in the County League, where, despite the constant short showers, we had a good win on all rinks gaining another twelve points which put us up to second place in the league, keep up the good form team.
