There is a decided air of excitement at Fosseway Bowls Club. The last two Mondays have seen several members return to Club night, albeit socially distanced and with the Pavilion and changing rooms still out of bounds.

The Ladies have had a practice session with another to follow on Friday, 7th May and Wednesday, 6th will see the start of a new internal league, consisting of three wood pairs, the brain child of Dave, our Competition Secretary.

We are looking forward to taking part in the Bowls England Bank Holiday weekend, when on Sunday and Monday 30th/31st May, from 10 am to 4 pm, our club will be giving a warm, friendly welcome to anyone wishing to give it a try. If you have always wondered what can be so fascinating in rolling a ball along a piece of grass, this is your chance to find out. Bowls is suitable for all ages, so bring the family (children over ten years will be able to have a go). Just wear flat shoes, all equipment will be available. Fosseway Bowls Club is situated in the Centurion Hotel complex, you will find us at the far end of the car park.
