HAVING beaten Frys and Bloomfield, Paulton Bowls Club men’s team are through to the fifth round of the Turnbull Cup, the county competition, and an away tie in the fifth round at Bath. In the County League, after our win against Stothert and Pitt and the withdrawal of Frome Selwood in our latest game, the men’s team stand in third position in their division. The women’s team, playing away in the Fear cup against Chew Stoke, could not maintain their latest form, losing overall in the cold wet conditions on Friday the fifth.
