PAULTON Bowling Club's women showed the men the way forward with a win on all rinks away against Wyrral Park in the Ladies League.

This was followed by an overall win for the men on Saturday in the County League at Wells City gaining a valuable seven points in their start in this division.

Tuesday saw the men in action at home in the Bowls England Top Club competition. However things did not go well as they lost on one too many rinks. 

Finally congratulations go to David and Lesley Beard who won the Watchet bowls club married couples tournament winning all four games; a tremendous effort from the pair of them.
