After ten weeks of a mixture of victories and losses, all players that represented Camvale Tennis Club in the Avon summer league should be proud of themselves.

We have fielded teams for all matches all season even when struggling for numbers.

It’s been a difficult season for the first team in a high division, however players have stepped up, turned up every week and developed their game by playing against very good players. The season ends in relegation but optimism for next season in more suited division.

The second team narrowly missed out on top spot and finish second by head to head matches. The seconds have played some very good tennis this season whilst developing their game and enjoying it at the same time. Hopefully promotion is still a possibility to step up a division and progress.

Thanks to all players that have played this season and all of those who have helped out and watched.
