CHEW Valley have finished third in Regional One South West, ten points behind the champions Devonport Services, and four points behind runners-up Barnstaple.
Valley played 22 matches, winning 17, and scoring 787 points, only six fewer than Services.
Chew also reached the final of the Somerset Cup, after beating Bridgwater & Albion 41-20 in the semi-finals.
It was an impressive display by Valley who pulled away in the second half after trailing 15-14 at the interval.
Valley's points in the first half came from Alex Monk and Tom Bryan who also kicked two conversions.
Dean Brooker went over for a try for Valley in the 56th minute, which Bryan converted, to put Valley back in the driving seat.
George Chapman snapped up another try for Valley on 62 minutes which Bryan converted before adding three more points with a penalty maing the score 31-15.
Dean Brooker put the result beyond doubt with a try in the corner to make it 36-15 before Chapman went over for his second try of the match.
Bridgwater came back with a consolation try - but by then the result was not in any doubt
