The Coleford duo of Bob Smith and Graham Edgell led the way with a crushing 8 & 7 win, acting captain Howard Nowell and Cyril Blacker won 5 & 4 while Malcolm Tucker and Alan Locke triumphed 4 & 3. Mike Weeks and Nick Foxwell were 3 & 2 winners, Chris Appleton and Alan White came out on top 3 & 1 and in the final match, Frank Dance and George Thurston came home 2 & 1 winners.

The May medal saw Richard Dancey follow up his March success with a second medal. His nett 59 enabled him to hold off the challenge of White and John Bendle who both finished with nett 62s. White claimed second place on countback.
