PAULTON Rovers are pleased to announce the appointment of Ray Johnston as first team manager. In a statement Rovers say: “Ray has a host of experience at both Western League and Southern League levels having, previously managed Portishead Town, Wells City, Odd Down, Hallen, Mangotsfield Utd and most recently, Radstock Town, where he guided them to second place in Division One of the Western League, narrowly missing out on promotion. “Ray began his career as a goalkeeper and boasts Bristol Rovers, Bath City, Weston-Super-Mare and Frome Town as former clubs. “We'd like to thank Radstock Town for their cooperation with the appointment.”
