MENDIP Golf Club’s county Rose Bowl team completed a successful week for the Seniors moving into the quarter finals after a win against a strong Long Sutton side 3-2.

Winning for Mendip were Kevin Keene/Nick White, Bryan Lewis/Simon Atkinson and Chris White/Gary Quin.

A large field entered the Mendip Mixed Open, a two men and two ladies event. The winning visitor team came from Cricket St Thomas with 86 points. The 2nd visitor team came from Canford School/Wareham with 80 points with the winning Mendip team being Alan & Rebecca Edwards,  Helen Roberts and Alex Edwards with 84.
