There was a close finish to the Stableford event for the Nick Foxwell Memorial Trophy in the Seniors section of Fosseway Golf Club with countback needed to establish the winner.

Rex Wyatt won with 31 points. Allen Cheney narrowly missed out with his 31. One shot behind came Shaun Goodwin who beat Alan Jones on countback. The Seniors welcomed Nick Foxwell’s widow Nat who presented the trophy to Rex.

The scores were also tight for the first three in the Continuform 3-ball Texas Scramble. The winners were Goodwin, Andy Flagg and Frank Reeves with a nett total of 57. In second place one shot behind came Steve Brixey, Paul Trigg and Phil Winsley.
