FRANK Reeves, a member of Fosseway Golf Club for more than 50 years, has been producing some impressive results in the seniors section.

The best result came in the April Medal event when he outshone all the other members with an excellent nett score of 61. In second place came one of Fosseway’s latest recruits Anthony Gregory who recorded a nett score of 65 with Mike Ricketts third on 67.

Mike Weeks’ nett score of 64 was enough to see him lift the Colin Eaton Cup in the three club challenge. He had to rely on countback, however, after Andy Flagg recorded an outstanding gross score of 74. In third place was Phil Winsley with a nett 66.

Reeves and Weeks also featured in the reckoning for the Don Stearn Trophy, but it was Shaun Goodwin who won the individual Stableford with an excellent 43 points. He finished four points clear of Reeves with Weeks third with 38 points.
