Mendip Golf Club: In the Pro Shop Stableford held during the weekend of 20/21st January, the Saturday event was won again by young Georgie Powell with 40 points, Paul Godwin was second with 37 beating Simon Jefferies on count back.

The Sunday event went to Timothy Patch with 43 beating William Burns on count back. The Nearest the Pins competitions were won by Kevin Keene with Nick White second and Ian Hall with Craig Robertson second.

The Mixed Social event was won by Pippa Brown and Clive Copp with 47 points with David and Fiona Judge second with 43.

The Ladies 3 clubs and a putter 9 hole event saw a good turn out of 39 Ladies competing. Division 1 saw a win for new member Pauline Young with 18 points after count back from Jenny Merrett. Lulu Carolan was third with 16. Division 2 was won by Chris Down with 15, Sue Needham was 2nd with 13 after count back from Ali Kay, Bron Cooper and Chris Williams. Division 3 saw a win for Elaine Richardson with 18, Sally Humphries was second with 17 and Pippa Brown was third with the best of the 16’s.

The weekend of 27/28 Jan saw 91 competitors in the Pro Shop Stableford. Div 1 went to Lee Swain with 40 points winning after count back from Craig Robertson. Brandon Steel was third with 39. There were 8 scores of 38 and after count back Andrew Thatcher came fourth, Dale Rowe fifth and Charlie Barber sixth.
