COUNTY Ground based Millichamp and Hall, whose cricket bats are widely used locally, will be heading out to the sun next weekend.

The M&H team, comprising of owner Rob Chambers, several of his bat makers, plus a few special guests, including former Somerset bowler Steve Kirby, will be going to Ibiza to try and defend the T10 trophy they won in 2023.

This year all monies raised from the tournament will go to the Ruth Strauss Foundation (RSF) set up by ex-England cricket captain Sir Andrew Strauss, following the diagnosis and sad death, of his wife, Ruth, with non-smoking lung cancer.

The Foundation aims to support families as they prepare for the death of a parent as well as to raise awareness of the disease and the need for more research.

Ibiza Cricket Club are hosting the first overseas fundraising event for the Ruth Strauss Foundation, at their beautiful cricket ground in in San Lorenzo

The teams that are taking part are Ibiza CC, London New Zealand CC, Wimbledon Rebels CC, The Absolute Badgers and Millichamp and Hall.
