More wet weather put paid to all of Midsomer Norton Cricket Club's league fixtures last weekend.

This Saturday, the First XI will be hoping to consolidate their third-place in the league table when they travel to Knowle. On the same day, the Second XI are at home to Calne and the Third XI travel to Wrington.

There is more cricket at Withies Lane on Sunday, when the Sunday Firsts take on Corsham.

Summer Holiday Cricket Camps are being run for children aged between eight and fifteen at Withies Lane on 12th and 13th August and 29th and 30th Auugst, either as half-days (9 a.m. – 12 noon or 12 noon – 3 p.m.) or full days (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.).

The events offer fun-filled, cricket-related skills and games for all abilities with coaching from professional Level Two Coach and England Academy cricketer, Fran Wilson. Suitable sports kit must be worn, but cricket kit can be provided and children will need to bring a packed lunch and drink.
