Norwest Bowls: Inter club competitions are coming to a close with the last games being played. Finals weekend will be held on the 9th and 10th of September. 

The floodlit charity games are progressing nicely thanks to the clubs taking part; Frome Park/Selwood, Paulton, Prattens, Purnells and Norwest. These games are always enjoyable with a lot of banter on all rinks. The pasties and hotdogs are always well received together with a well-earned pint. 

The final will be hosted by Frome Park/Selwood and the charity benefiting from the fundraiser is SWALLOW. 

This Saturday, the A team travel to Stothert and Pitt in the last game of the County League. The A team have no chance of promotion, unlike the B team who beat Weston Bath 12-0. They have a good chance if they beat Knowle B away, best of luck lads. 

Sunday 3rd September is the Anne Wilkinson Memorial Trophy (please see our notice board for more details), let’s have a good turnout for a most popular person.
