Wells ladies played the club qualifier for the Daily Mail foursomes national competition. Those out early enjoyed sharp downpours and wet greens. Anyone after 12pm enjoyed sunshine! The winners, and going through to the next round, were Cath Levell and Glynis Slater with nett 75. Second were Philippa Gowen and Katrina Foote with nett 80.

The ladies past captains' team took on the ladies in an annual match-play greensomes competition. The past captains, captained by Janice White, emerged victorious 3 1/2 to 1 1/2.
