AFTER Paulton Rovers’ good performance in beating Jewson Western League premier division leaders Brixham 3-2, it’s a long trip on Saturday to St Blazey near St Austell in Cornwall.
The coach leaves the club at 9-20. There are a small number of seats remaining so supporters wishing to travel should add their name to the list in the clubhouse.
The annual great fireworks display is on Saturday from 7-00 pm. Tickets are on sale at the bar and online. Payment can be made at the turnstiles but buying in advance, which saves queuing.
Paulton now know they travel to Portishead Town on Saturday 9 November in the second round of the Isuzu FA Vase after they won their rearranged tie.
The U18s had a good 2-0 win over Portishead’s youngsters last Thursday and this Thursday 31/10 are home to Mangotsfield United kick off 7-30 p.m.
Sunday (03/11) the Women’s 1st team are home to Stockwood kick off 2-00 pm.
The club are holding a Night at the Races on Saturday, 30 November, with proceeds going to help Kitan Jaiyaboa, the Rovers player, who suffered a serious injury earlier in October. Full details on the website www.paultonrovers.co.uk
