Rovers travelled along the M3 to Calthorpe Park, home of Hampshire side, Fleet Town, and came away with a draw last Saturday, 12th October, after a tremendous home goalkeeping display by Ryan Pryce.

In the second minute, Pryce blocked Brandon Barnes' shot and a minute later, tipped Mike Perrott's effort wide for a corner. Town's Danilo Cadete was causing a few headaches for Paulton, with a roving role and he had two attempts at the vistors' goal. James Billing received a poor clearance and from thirty yards out tried to chip Pryce, who was out of position, but it fell wide.

Paulton continued to apply pressure against the run of play, but Cadete broke through on the right and squared the ball for Rob Carr to give Fleet the lead at half time.

It was more of the same in the second half, with Pryce holding Billing's shot then pulling off a double save from Dean Evans and then Barnes.

Paulton had a penalty appeal waived away on 52 minutes, but the referee turned a blind eye to Rovers' appeals.

Within a minute of coming on as substitute, Josh Klein-Davies created the equaliser for Paulton, laying the ball into the path of McCootie who played it back to Cleverley, who hit a superb drive from the edge of the penalty area. A minute later, Pryce smoothered a McCootie chance, but three minutes later, Klein-Davies made it 2–1 to Rovers.

Barnes crossed to Perrott and then Cleverley headed goalwards with both attempts saved. JKD followed up to bravely head home, receiving a gash just below his right eye in the process.

With Rovers pressing to increase the lead, Pryce was again the stumbling block and Fleet made it 2–2 on 68 minutes when a deep cross from Cadete found Carr, who volleyed the ball past Phillips. Three minutes later, both sides were reduced to ten men when Evans, for Paulton, and White, for Fleet, were shown red cards for violent conduct.

The game flowed end-to-end, with Philips pulling off a neat save from Simba Mlambo and Man of the Match, Pryce, fisting away a shot by McCootie and then tipping a Perrott header over the bar.
