IT HAS been a really busy week for Prattens Bowls Club - on Tuesday evening it hosted an evening for Mendip & District Round Table. Sixteen members came along to 'have a go' at bowls.

After some practise there was a yardstick competition among the players resulting in lots of fun & laughter. Everyone then enjoyed supper.

On Wednesday there was a men's league game. Unfortunately, Prattens lost overall but won on 1 rink to give us 2 points.

The ladies played at Frome Selwood and also lost overall but again won on 1 rink to give us 2 points.

On Friday Frome Selwood came to Prattens for  a Mixed League game - again we got only 2 points.

On Saturday Prattens played a mixed friendly 2 rink game against Stothert & Pitt and on Sunday we played against Purnells in the Tony Allcock Trophy competition. This is a competition for over 60s. Purnells won and go forward to the next round against St Andrews Bowls Club in Weston-super-Mare.
