PAULTON Rovers pulled off an 11-0 away win over Malmesbury Victoria in an Under 18 football match, writes Tony Walsh. Paulton’s youngsters played magnificently against a plucky Malmesbury Vics outfit who, despite the emphatic outcome, never gave up in a one-sided game. The man of the match was undoubtedly the Vics keeper. Without his saves the rampant Rovers could have hit 20. Paulton are home in the next round to Cirencester Town on Thursday, September 5. Several of the youngsters will be drafted into the first team squad for this Sunday’s FA Cup game at Hamworthy Recreation. The kick off is 1-00 pm with the coach leaving the club at 09-30 am.
There is only two places left for supporters, so anyone seeking to travel should add their name to the list in the club house asap.
