MIDSOMER Norton maintained their 13-point lead at the top of Counties Two Somerset - without handling a ball.
They were due to play at home to Rebels Rugby but the opposition forfeited the match, all five points being awarded to Norton.
There were some big scores in the division. Minehead Barbarians, in fourth spot, hammered St Bernadettes Old Boys 90-0 to complete the season’s double over their rivals.
Clevedon, in second spot, kept in touch with Midsomer Norton with an 80-8 away win over Chew Valley’s second string while Avon were 72-0 home winners against Wells.
Nailsea & Backwell proved too good for Imperial, winning 51-19 at home while Hornets gained a 24-12 away success against Oldfield Old Boys.
