MIDSOMER Norton remain 12 points clear of the field in Counties Two Somerset despite the postponement of their away match against Imperial because of the bad weather.

Only two matches were played in the division. Clevedon beat bottom side Wells 57-0 to move up to second in the table while Chew Valley 2nds were 35-7 home winners over Nailsea & Backwell.

Norton, who also have two matches in hand on second-placed Clevedon, will be chasing their 14th win of the season when they play away on Saturday, February 15, to St Bernadettes Old Boys who crashed 143-0 away against their rivals when they last met early last November. The Old Boys are currently lying tenth in the division.
