A sponsored cycle ride is taking place to raise money to create more health and fitness opportunities for people with learning disabilities in the local area.

Members and supporters of the SWALLOW charity are gearing up to ride either 4km or 8km, with the ride taking place on Thursday, April 3. The charity aims to raise a total of £300, and have so far raised £110 as of Monday, March 31.

Cyclists will be riding along the cycle path from Radstock towards Mells on a range of accessible bikes and trikes supported by All Cycle - Bath & West and Active Way.

While members are a raising their own individual amounts, SWALLOW also has a Just Giving page for anyone who would like to donate.
