Drivers in and around Bath and North East Somerset will have nine National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And one of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that three closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• A36, from 8am August 12 2024 to 6am March 1 2025, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A36 both directions Warminster Road, Limpley Stoke at Scotland Rocks, carriageway closure between Waterhouse Lane and private road for carriageway renewal, diversion Cars S/B A36, A4 E/B, A350 S/B, A361 rejoin A36, N/B diversion by following the above in reverse, diversion HGV S/B - A36 W/B, A4, A4174, M32 N/B, M4 E/B, junction 17, A350 S/B, A361 rejoin A36, N/B diversion by following above in reverse.

• A36, from 8pm February 9 to 6am March 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both directions Limpley Stoke, two-way traffic lights for carriageway works.

• A36, from 6am November 11 2024 to 6pm March 1 2025, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both directions Limpley Stoke, two-way traffic lights and daytime convoy works for carriageway works.

And a further six closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• A36, from 8pm February 24 to 6am February 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Brassknocker Hill, multiway traffic lights for carriageway repairs.

• A46, from 8am February 26 to 4pm February 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions M4, junction 18 to Tadwick Verge works for horticulture.

• A36, from 6am March 1 to 6am September 27, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Both direction Limpley Stoke, two-way traffic lights for carriageway works.

• A46, from 8am to 4pm on March 3, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A46 Both Directions Cold Ashton Rbt to London Road Rbt verge works for horticulture.

• A36, from 9.30am March 3 to 3pm March 14, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A36 Bathampton, rolling traffic lights installed by Truespeed communications.

• A4, from 9am March 4 to 4pm March 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A4 eastbound, London Road Rbt to Box Rbt lane closure for horticulture.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.
