The Bath Rugby Foundation is excited to announce its participation in the Big Give’s Christmas Challenge - which aims to raise £36,500 in just one week to support its Alternative Learning Hub.
Running from Monday, December 3 and until Tuesday, December 10, the campaign will double every donation meaning contributions will have twice the impact, helping more young people in Bath and North East Somerset build brighter futures.
The Alternative Learning Hub is a collaboration between Bath Rugby Foundation and Bath College, providing a tailored educational pathway for young people aged 14-19 who face challenges in traditional schooling.
Offering level one and two courses, the programme focuses on practical learning, such as cooking with professional chefs, training with Olympic athletes, and creative assessments like podcasts.
The hub helps participants build confidence, develop life skills, and gain independence, preparing them for further education, employment, or training.
Bath Rugby Foundation has already worked with more than 5,500 children and young people, delivering 2,573 hours of physical activity, 1,516 hours in the classroom, and providing 1,947 hot, nutritious meals to vulnerable children.
Big Give is a registered charity that runs match funded campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. By connecting charities to match funds and the public, Big Give helps them double their donations.
It has raised more than £236m for charities, to date.
Donations will be accepted from now until midday on Tuesday, December 10. Donations can be made through Bath Rugby Supporters’ Club holding page at https://www.paypal.com/donate?campaign_id=SUW667UZ78P36
