The seventy six competitors entered for this 4 Ball Betterball event were treated to a course fully refreshed from the recent rain and greens that were very quick.
Only three points separated the top seven teams so any short missed putts or duffed chip shots proved to be expensive.
The winning duo with forty seven points were Pete Ross and Steve Coles with the latter securing five pairs and a birdie on the sixth.
In second place were Rob Thain and Mike Mahoney with forty six points, both players with a number of pars and birdies on the second and fifteenth holes. Third place went to Phil Button and Jeff Kelly with twelve pars between them.
In the friendly matches Farrington continued their winning run of seven matches with fine wins against Shirehampton, Stockwood Vale, Kingsdown and The Kendleshire.
