Sandy Heath has qualified for the Final of the Ladies’ England Golf Medal competition after playing in the South West Regional Finals at Bridport.
Ladies who won their own club medal competed with clubs as far apart as Cape Cornwall and Bude, Broadstone and Minehead. Sandy is thrilled to represent our area and looks forward to playing at the National Golf Centre in Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire. Their Hotchkin course is rated in the top 100 courses in the world!
An Open bowmaker was held in very warm conditions and the first visitor team, from Cricket St Thomas, were Nick, Kim and Sam Clarke, a family affair. The first Wells winners were Richard Williams, Simon Harris and Steve Guy. Adam Payne, Dave Holland and Steve Rowse were second on countback from Adam Holliday, Stuart Gowen and Jon Mackness. There is a mixed pairs 4BBB open on Thursday, 20th June, so why not come and join us?
The Ladies May Medal saw Erica Klim win Division One with nett-78 and Gill Magrath win Division Two with nett-79.
