SURPRISINGLY, only three players had a below par nett score in perfect golfing  conditions, warm and sunny with little wind, in Wells Golf Club’s Seniors’ Monthly Medal which was held on Friday, July 26.

Donald Perry enjoyed the best nett score – 67, to win division 1. Second was Bill McCollum, nett 68 on countback from Dave Szymanski.  Dave did have a magical front 9, gross 36 but could not hold it together on the back nine. 

Division 2 was won by Geoff Cabral, nett 70.  Second was Terry Williams, nett 71 and third, John Moxon, nett 73.
