CHEW Valley will be targeting their fourth successive rugby victory when they play at home to Marlborough in Regional One South West on Saturday, February 15.

Having won only one of their games before Christmas, Valley have already beaten St Austell (21-10), Exmouth (29-26) and Ivybridge (66-14) this year.

However, they are still second from bottom and seven points behind the next placed side Marlborough who chalked up their fifth win of the season by beating Launceston 40-29 at home in their latest match.

Ivybridge are the division’s bottom team with only three wins from their 17 matches this season and are six points adrift of the Valley.

Brixham, who top the division by one point from second placed Barnstaple, are home to Lydney, in sixth spot, this coming weekend.
