St. Peter's Church in Westfield has announced its first event for 2025, offering local residents an opportunity to come together and engage in community activities.

The church hosted a variety of popular events in 2024, including coffee mornings, a bunny drive, and the highly successful Christmas Tree Festival, which attracted large numbers of people from Westfield and the local area.

Westfield's annual Christmas Tree light-switching event on November 28 featured Father Christmas, free gifts, hot drinks, and festive treats. Three Westfield FC Junior players switched on the lights, joined by carol singers and the Midsomer Norton and Radstock Silver Band. The event, growing in popularity, brings the community together each year.

Although the Christmas season has concluded, the church’s activities continue into 2025. The first event will be held on Saturday, January 18, from 10.30am to 1pm, offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy a hot bacon sandwich, drinks, and informal conversation in a welcoming setting.

Attendance is open to all, with no prior booking required. Mike Davies, representing the church, extends an invitation to the community to join in this gathering.
