ODD Down (Bath) Development are through to the final of the Somerset Intermediate Cup.

The Mid Somerset League outfit, top of the second division, having lost only one game, turned on the style to beat Wellington Reds 4-0 away.

The Reds, the footballing section of the local cricket club, trailed 1-0 at the interval but had a player sent off for two yellows not long into the second half.

Odd Down took full advantage, playing some fine football on the all-weather pitch at Court Fields School, the tie having been switched from the grass at Wellington's main ground at the Playing Field because of overnight rain.

The G3 pitch suited Odd Down who played some splendid attacking football, especially in the second half to win with goals from Daniel Adams, Toby Davis, Balla Jobe and Kevin Boadi.

The Reds, who were already through to one final in their league, had no answer to the slick play of Odd Down.
