SEVENTY-TWO competed in Mendip Golf Club’s weekend Pro Shop Stableford. Div 1 went to Gary Quin with 38 points with Mark Crook 2nd with 37 on count back from Craig Adams.

Div 2 was won by Sam Thatcher with a best of event score of 40, Mervyn Vaughan was 2nd with 38, Colin Wiltshire was 3rd with 37.

Div 3 went to Nicholas Sharp with 38 with Ryan Davis 2nd with 37, Louise Scott was 3rd with 34 with 33.28 played in the Pro Shop Mid Week Stableford which saw a win in Div 1 for Roland Greenway with 34, Martin Green was 2nd with 32 and Daniel Owen was 3rd with 32.

Div 2 went to Susy Rudkin with 35, Anita Butcher was 2nd with 33 and Charlie Barber was 3rd with 30.57 Ladies played in the 9 hole qualifying event which saw a win in Division 1 for Lally Gibson with 19 points on count back from Pauline Young, Fiona Hansard was 3rd with 18.

Div 2 was won by Louise Scott with 20, Lulu Carolan was 2nd with 17 and Diane Stanton was 3rd with 15 after count back from Debbie Godwin. Div 3 was won by Annette Jobbins with 19 after count back from Elaine Richardson with Caroline Simper 3rd with 18 after count back from Bridget Rylance.

One hundred Seniors played in the Singles Stableford. The overall winner with 35 points was Nigel Cheshire after count back. Div 1 was won by Richard White also with 35, Terry Carter was 2nd with 33 after count back from Phil Butcher. Div 2 went to Phil Bendall with 35, Tony Taylor was 2nd with 34, Paul Godwin was 3rd with 32.

Div 3 was won by John Cross with 33 after count back from Noel McRoberts with David Collins 3rd with 32.
