MIDSOMER Norton TAGB Tae Kwon-Do had another successful day competing at the BTC Championships (Governing body of Tae Kwon-Do).
With its biggest team to date, eight competitors travelled to Worcester. The day was long but a huge success. It takes a great deal of commitment, hard work, determination, and passion to perform at a tournament. There were 800 people participating at the competition with 11 different organisations taking part.
Our team was competing in a variety of events. We were extremely successful and every one of our students came home with a medal and we had a total medal haul of 18.
I am very proud of all our students that entered the championships. We always remind our students that competing in tournament is very valuable part of the martial arts journey It is invaluable in helping to improve your Tae Kwon-Do, gain experience performing under pressure and learn new skills. We are only growing when we are out of our comfort zone. It is in the realm of unknown that the best lessons are learned. So, to all those competitors who put themselves out there, a huge well done to you all, you should be extremely proud of yourselves, we certainly are!
