Staff and pupils at Next Steps Nursery came ‘dressed to impress’ on Thursday, March 6, when they celebrated World Book Day.

Next Steps Nursery is the on-site nursery for St John’s C of E primary school, located on Redfield Road in Midsomer Norton, and is open to children between the ages of two and four years old.

World Book Day is a charity and event celebrated in schools all across the UK and Ireland, encouraging children to enjoy reading for pleasure through a variety of activities, such as dressing up and offering books for just £1.

The pupils at Next Steps Nursery had a great time sharing a lot of books and were introduced to lots of new characters.
